I can link pictures from the internet (using their address) without a problem, but I can’t get my own personal photos on there. I’ve tried saving them to the project folder and they still don’t appear in brackets. Any idea why they won’t allow me to add them to the images folder? (they are all in jpg already)

You will likely have to download the images and then move them into the same folder as your project. Then make sure to use the right href in your link for the location of the image.
