In the schedule I see quizzes that are due for chapters 1,2,4,5,6,8,and 15. Are the other chapters required for this class or should I focus just on the chapters that we will be quizzed on?

Some chapters just don’t have quizzes. Instead they have HW assignments, projects, or exams. Chapter 16 is the only chapter that is not required. The chapters to study are included on the Learning Suite schedule.
