Hello, I am on the “1.1 Study Guide and Terms” tab in “Chp 1: Concepts: Information Systems in Organizations”. The tasks say, ”

  1. Read the chapter thoroughly and study the diagrams and images.
  2. Review the study guide to make sure you’ve hit all of the concepts and key terms (no skills taught in this chapter).
  3. Take the quiz at the end of the chapter.”

Nowhere in there does it say, “Lecture slides: information systems in organizations- download material”, but I don’t know whether or not I need to download them.

There is no need to download any lecture slides throughout this class. Your best course of action is to paste all the key terms and concepts into a note, read the chapter and as you go paste the definitions with their respective term from the list and write notes about the concepts, and finally review quickly and take the quiz. The videos within the readings are probably the most helpful part of the course (especially in later chapters) so be sure to watch those as you read.
